Dawes Arboretum - Ohio 13, three miles north of I-70.

Luminary Tour- Friday, Dec. 5, 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The Dawes Arboretum brings you an evening of illumination with 1,500 candle luminaries. Join us inside the Visitors Center after the drive for a cup of hot cocoa, a holiday treat and some activities for the whole family. All proceeds will benefit the Licking County Food Pantry.

Holly Fair- Saturday, Dec. 6, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Our second annual gathering of local artists and crafts people displaying their holiday treasures. Enjoy refreshments while shopping for those one-of-a-kind special gifts for your loved ones. Daweswood Gifts will offer 10% off to all visitors and, as a special holiday "thank you," an additional 10% discount to our members. Free, meet at the Visitor Center.

Celtic Christmas Celebration - Thornville. Come out Saturday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. for a Celtic Christmas Celebration with Evening Rose at South Shore Ministries Center. Bring your entire family; a nursery is provided. Contact information and directions at southsm.org.

Breakfast with Santa, Elf Shelf Workshop - Millersport. filled morning at the Millersport Lions Clubhouse on Saturday, December 13, 8 a.m. to noon, to join Santa Claus in a delicious Pancake Breakfast fit for all of Santa's elves. Don't miss the opportunity to get a photo with Santa and let the wee folks shop for mom, dad, grandparents and siblings.

Enjoy breakfast, add a photo to the family album and let the children shop all at affordable family prices. Breakfast costs are: $5 for adults and children over 11 years; $2 for children ages 2 -10 years; any children under age 2 eat for free. Photo costs start at $2.50 per photo. The Elf Shelf Workshop is a special shopping area for children under age 12 to purchase gifts for mom, dad, grandparents and siblings at low prices. Adults will be allowed to shop after 12:30 PM only. There will be elves to assist all shoppers and gift wrap all gifts purchased.

Baltimore Lions Club Community Day - Baltimore. Free funnel cakes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6 at Baltimore Square (Ohio 256 & 158). Please bring non-perishable food items for the Baltimore Food Pantry. Items needed include box dinners, canned soup, canned fruit, marcaroni, spaghetti and sauce, pork & beans, flour, sugar, saline crackers, shortening, catsup, toilet paper, liquid dish soap, shampoo, cake mixes and frosting. Bring used eye glasses for reuse in other countries and learn about programs available through the Baltimore Lions Club.

Christmas Cookie Walk & Craft Sale - Hebron. Pick up some great homemade Christmas cookies and crafts from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Hebron United Methodist Church, 502 E. Main St.

Toy Drop Off Day - Millersport. Donations of new toys for children of all ages and monetary donations are accepted daily at the Millersport Fire Station. Take advantage of drive-thru convenience from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13.

• Dec. 6: Christmas in the Country- Kick off a fun, old-fashioned, country Christmas with a twist. Our annual event will have a few surprises in store that will last throughout the holiday season. You can still relax on a horse drawn wagon ride under the clear winter sky or warm up as you roast marshmallows over a roaring fire. Inside you can sample homemade cookies and hot wassail while listening to sounds of the season provided by local musical groups. Jolly Old St. Nicholas will also be on hand to listen to those special Christmas wishes. Free admission for the kick-off. 7 to 9 p.m.

Winterfair - Ohio Expo Center, Columbus. December 4-7: Thursday 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Friday- Saturday 11 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday noon-5 p.m. Adults $7 with children 12 and under free. Free return admission any day of the fair. It's the 32nd annual juried fair of fine art and fine craft by over 400 artists from across the country, featuring ceramics, glass, wearable art, jewelry, sculpture, painting and photography. Shoppers will find something to fit every budget, from handmade notecards and beautiful beaded earrings to ceramic mixing bowls and leather purses or silk jackets. Vintage Voices - Granville. The Vintage Voices choir of Granville is preparing a Christmas program of seasonal music to be presented during the Granville Candlelight Walking Tour Dec. 6 as well as several other venues during December. This year's performance schedule includes:

• Saturday, Dec. 6, 7:15 and 8:15 p.m.: Granville Candlelight Walking Tour at the Centenary United Methodist Church

• Sunday, Dec. 7, 3 p.m.: Central Christian Church, Newark

• Tuesday, Dec. 9, 3 p.m.: Chapel Grove Inn, Heath

Vintage Voices is a mixed voices choir whose more than 70 members are all 50 years of age or older. All concerts are free and open to the public.

Celts Crossing - Granville. Join traditional Irish Celtic music group Celts Crossing at the Broadway Pub in Granville Dec. 6, 7 p.m. during the Granville Candlelight Walking Tour. Celts Crossing is Liz Redrow- guitar and vocals, Paul Mumma- pipe, guitar, and vocals, Frank O'Brien- Bernini- world percussion, Robin Brown- fiddle and vocals, and Scott Rawdon- upright bass and vocals.
