Anna Mae VanHorn
Anna Mae VanHorn, 89, passed away Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, at the Pickerington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Anna was born in Smithville to the late Harry E. and Elizabeth Zimmerman Haffly. Anna was a member of Fifth Avenue Church of Christ and formerly a 40-year member of the Eastern Star.
Anna is survived by three sons, Harold (Cheryl) VanHorn of Baltimore, Steve (Roberta) VanHorn of Baltimore, and Bob (Stephanie) VanHorn of Lancaster; three daughters, Marilyn (Bob) Heston of Lancaster, Melody (Jack) Timmons of Carroll and Shirley (Ed) Glamkowski of New Jersey; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and nephew, James Haffley of New Holland, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, Harold J VanHorn Sr.; a sister, Grace Shook; twin sister, Marie Smucker; and brothers, Frank and Ed Haffly.
Services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Johnson Smith Funeral Home, 207 S. Main St., Baltimore, with Pastor Bob Heston officiating.
