Iva Belle Haubiel

A funeral service celebrating the life of Iva Belle Haubiel, 101, of Baltimore, was November 10, 2008, at Hoskinson Funeral Home, Kirkersville, with the Rev. Frank Waters officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery in Columbus.

Iva died peacefully November 6, 2008, in Columbus after a brief illness. She was born Oct. 3, 1907, in Dry Fork, W.Va., to the late Cletus B. and Anna Margaret (Cooper) Raines.

She was a graduate of Columbus South High School, class of 1927. She was a lifelong homemaker, a Methodist by faith, and a former member of the Ohio Ave. E.U.B. church.

She is survived by her son, Cletus (Judy) Haubiel, of Pickerington; grandchildren, Charles W. (Michele) Haubiel, of Gahanna, and Alisa (Paco) Morera, of Pickerington; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Lexi and Lili Morera; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Charles W. Haubiel, in 1981; her daughter, Betty Jean; brother, George; and sisters, Zettie and Ella Basil.
