Cemetery volunteers thanked

On Sunday, Nov. 9, Boy Scout Troop 404 and 24 Walnut Township residents met at the Millersport Cemetery to work on the grave sites.

After three hours of mowing, trimming, weeding and brushing the gravestones, the cemetery became a reflection of gratitude of our community. The scouts then went around to every veteran's grave and straightened the flags honoring them. The time spent was a positive gesture in paying forward for the community and to the veterans.

Walnut Township is a great place to live and raise our children.
