Millersport Track project has raised more than $30,000

Editor:

This letter updates the efforts of the Millersport Schools Track/Athletic Facilities Renovation Committee. Thanks to alumni, residents, businesses and service organizations, we have received over $27,300 in donations. We recently held a beef raffle which brought in over $3,440. Linda Ervin of Millersport was the winner. Congratulations to her and thanks to everyone who purchased tickets. Currently, from donations and raffle sales, we have raised a total of more than $30,700. We hope more donations will be coming in.

I want to reassure all contributors to this project that all money received will go to the Millersport Athletic Boosters earmarked for track renovation. The money will not be used for anything else. We would also like to take this opportunity to say a big "THANK YOU" to all our donors. We decided not to send out thank you notes so everything can be used for track renovation.

I sincerely appreciate the efforts of everyone on the committee. They have done a great job so far and I am looking forward to continuing to work with them. This project will take time to complete. If you have any questions, would like to serve on the committee or help in anyway, please call me at 246-6101.

Ken Keener, Chair Walnut Township
