Samuel E. Albright

A graveside service for Samuel E. Albright, 84, of Hebron, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Newark Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Eric Miller officiating. Military honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.

Mr. Albright died Oct. 19, 2008, at Essex of Salem. He was born March 17, 1924, in Perry County, to the late Samuel G. and Effie Mae (Young) Albright.

Mr. Albright was a veteran of the U.S. Army, faithfully serving his country during World War II. He was retired from Holophane Corp.

He is survived by two sons, Terry Lee Albright, of Heath, and Ronald Eugene (Barbara) Albright, of Newark; daughter, Deborah Susan (Philip) Duckworth, of Salem; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Dale Albright, of New Lexington; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Grace; a son and daughter-in-law, Alex and Kay Albright; and several brothers and sisters.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Heath Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta Funeral & Cremation Service, 1249 Hebron Road, Heath.
