Don't 'put a price on your families' lives'

Editor:

Since Buckeye Lake voters elected me to council a year ago, I've kept my promise to work as hard as I can for you. Now I'm going to ask you to do something for your village and me - vote yes for our police department levy.

I also live on a fixed income, so I know how hard it is to pay any more taxes on property, etc. But, do you really want to take the chance on your life, or your family or children's lives by not having any police department at all?

Think of how much more crime will move into our village and how long it would take for the sheriff's department to get here when called. I won't put a price on my family's lives or mine.

Think about it everyone; will you put a price on your families' lives? You tell me.
