Geraldine B. Clark

A funeral service for Geraldine B. Clark, 87, of Hebron, was October 14, 2008, at Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home, Newark, with Pastor Tom Myers officiating. Burial was in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery on Linnville Road.

Mrs. Clark passed away Oct. 7, 2008, at Newark Healthcare. She was born March 6, 1921, in Licking County, to the late Floyd M. Cooperrider and Helen M. (Claggett) Cooperrider-VanWey.

She graduated from Hopewell High School and Newark YMCA Business School. She was a secretary treasurer of Clark Bros. Farms Inc. and retired from the Licking County Planning Commission as secretary. She was a 4-H adviser for nine years in Franklin Township and a member of Franklin Grange and United Methodist Church of Hebron.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, E. Lawrence Clark, whom she married March 19, 1939; son, Roger (Artistia) Clark, of Newark; daughters, Shirley (Ronald) Guyer, of Pierson, Fla., Carol (Chance) Brockway Jr., of Hebron, and Rosalie M. Parkinson, of Newark; sister, Marilyn J. Mills, of Newark; sister-in-law, Peggy Esworthy, of Zanesville; stepmother, Louella Cooperrider, of Marne; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Forrest Cooperrider; and a stepgreat-grandchild.
