Dwight Edward Adams
A funeral service celebrating the life of Dwight Edward Adams, 77, of Baltimore, was October 12, 2008, at Fletcher Chapel United Methodist Church, with Pastor Myron Ingram officiating. Burial with military honors was in Kirkersville Cemetery.
Dwight died peacefully October 8, 2008, at home. He was born Sept. 5, 1931, to the late "Doc" and Frances (Burlingame) Adams. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked as a civilian employee for the Newark Air Force Base for many years, retiring in 1993.
He enjoyed bluegrass music and was interested in genealogy. He was a member of VFW Post 3762 at Baltimore.
He is survived by his son, David (Billie) Adams, of Reynoldsburg; and his grandchildren, Stacey and Shane Hill.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Adams; and his daughter, Sharon Hill.
