Glenn Howard Willey
A memorial service for Glenn Howard Willey, 72, of Glenford, was held Sept. 28, 2008 at Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home, Newark, with Pastor Tom Myers officiating.
After a four-year battle with prostate cancer, Glenn passed away Sept. 23, 2008, at his home. He was born Dec. 15, 1935, in Homer, to the late John M. and Ester (Saunders) Willey.
He served in the U.S. Army, worked at Rockwell International, retired as foreman with the Newark Street Department and was coowner, with his wife, of Farm Bag Supply Inc. for 28 years.
Glenn is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Marge; his daughters, Molajoyce (Rob) Stiles, of Brownsville, Glenna (John) Kimbrough, of Clarksville, Tenn., Carla Sargent, of Newark, Susan Wills, of Newark, Mary Bullock, of Glenford, and Mary (David) Chapman, of Clarksville, Tenn.; "like sons" grandsons, Shawn (Birdie) Sargent, Milo L. (Kristina) Bullock III, and Robbie Stiles III; grandsons, David (Lesley) Chapman, Scott Chapman and Joey Woosley; granddaughters, Savannah Collins, Tiffany and Roberta Wills and Amanda Libby; great-grandson, Milo L. Bullock; great-granddaughter, Kendra Woltz; sister-inlaw, Rebecca Willey, of Alaska; brother, Robert Willey; sister, Nancy (Phil) Kreager; very good friends, William Powell, Art, Dan and Andy Snedden; Robert Bennett, Chuck West, Mike Shumaker and Vernon and Donna Stiles; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and James Willey; stepmother, Margaret Willey, of Hanover; granddaughter, Elizabeth Libby; and nephew, Benjamin Willey.
