Writer says photo exploited victim of tragedy

The September 20th edition of the Beacon contained a story regarding the recent murder/suicide that took place in Walnut Township, along with an accompanying photograph of the victim's daughter, visably distraught, sitting outside of the home she and her father shared with Mr. Dymek, the man who took her father's life, and then his own.

What incredibly poor taste for Scott Rawden to have taken this picture, and for you to have printed it. It's an embarrassment to our community to have local stories given the same treatment that one would expect to find in the grocery store tabloids. For you to have exploited this poor young woman after losing both her father and friend in such a tragic way is reprehensible, and you should both be ashamed of yourselves.
