Since 1910, Scouting has been weaving lifetime values into fun and educational activities designed to assist parents in strengthening character, and enhancing the physical fitness of youth. Scouting is a family oriented program, which builds moral fiber through relationships with peers and by working with adults of good character that will be positive role models to them. These values help boys make good decisions throughout their lifetimes and provide confidence as often these boys become an adult leader of tomorrow.
