Thomas Shea

A graveside service for Thomas Shea, 66, of Glenford, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, at Olivet Cemetery, with Pastor Tom Myers officiating, and a military service afterward.

Tom entered eternal rest on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, at home with his family by his side.

Tom was born July 17, 1942, in Queens County, N.Y., to Vincent and Catherine (Hoey) Shea. He served in the Air National Guard, loved his family very much and enjoyed golfing.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Deborah (Wade) Shea, whom he married on Oct. 19, 1974; children Jennifer (Luke) Lowry, Thomas (Courtney) Shea, Christopher Shea and Jessica (Andy) Bilka; grandchildren, Hallie and Sarah Shea, Lillian and Madeline Bilka; and brother Vincent Shea.

He was preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Catherine Shea and brother Michael Shea.
