Sweet Corn Festival parade attracts the cool crowd
"It was a Saturday afternoon crowd," said Millersport resident Tom Tweedle. He helped manage festival booths sponsored by Baltimore Boy Scout Troop 187, saying the festival crowd was fairly strong, at least early in the day Friday and Saturday. Although, thanks to a strained economy-Tweedle supposesand a Friday night downpour, crowds thinned around 10 p.m. A strong crowd enjoyed headline performer Aaron Tippin's energetic performance, said Tweedle. Boy Scout troops 561 and 106 were also represented at the Millersport Sweet Corn Festival.
