HEBRON- A body was not located following a search near Harbor Hills Aug. 3 and 4.

Tuesday, Captain Dave Starling of the Licking County Sheriff's Office said Aug. 3, at approximately 7:30 p.m., the Licking County Sheriff's Office and park officers were called to 47 Oak Drive, Harbor Hills regarding a possible sighting of a small, decomposed body in Maple Bay. Starling said an immediate smallscale search was conducted, but no evidence was found. The next day, the Fairfield County Special Operation Dive Team, with the Ohio Search Dog Association and the United K-9 Search and Rescue unit conducted a largescale search.

Starling said that after the dogs were deployed, divers conducted a methodical search of the entire area and were unable to locate any evidence to substantiate a decomposing body in the water. The search was concluded at approximately 8 p.m. Monday.
