What a BLASST!

Buckeye Lake - The BLASST's deal with Mother Nature is still in effect. It rained all afternoon Thursday, but the skies cleared for the big show. Crowds were down, particularly in the number of boats on the lake. But many thought it was the best BLASST show ever.

Friday's boat parade wasn't so lucky. Rain was starting as the eight hardy boats lined up at Liebs Island. The skies opened up as the parade, lead by the Millersport Fire Department boat, headed out.

Grand Marshals Joe and Therese Miller didn't let the weather bother them. They were being honored for their community service and spirit. It was on display Friday.
