Howard Wilson Bigony
Howard Wilson Bigony, 90, died Friday, June 20, 2008, at Fairfield Medical Center.
Howard was born in Baltimore on Sept. 7, 1917, to the late Scott W. and Dessie "Miller" Bigony. Howard spent most of his life farming and worked as a feed salesman. He was a member of St. Michael's United Church of Christ, the Liberty Union VFW Post No. 3761 and the National Farmers Organization.
Howard is survived by a son, Arthur Bigony of Baltimore; a sister, Margene Bigony Ellinger of London; sisters-in-law, Rachel Sweeney of Columbus, Joan Hoon of New Concord and Maxine Spillman of Bolivar; brother-in-law, John Spillman of Canton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Howard was preceded in death by his wife, Leah Frances Spillman Bigony, who died Nov. 20, 2005; his parents; a sister, Lucille Lehman; and a brother, Harold Bigony.
Services were June 24, 2008, at St Michael's United Church of Christ, 2495 Bickel Church Road, Baltimore, with the Rev. Diane Berber officiating. Burial followed in the St. Michael's Cemetery.
