July 10 Buckeye Ocean cruise still has space

BUCKEYE LAKE- There's still space available on the Buckeye Ocean Cruise, Thursday, July 10, 6 to 8 p.m. aboard the Queen of the Lake II.

The Greater Buckeye Lake Chamber of Commerce sponsors the event. Enjoy a two-hour cruise and tour with appetizers, drinks, music, and some local history provided by the Buckeye Lake Historical Society. Tickets are $14 and there's a drawing for a free gas card. Payment in advance only.

The Queen of the Lake II launches from the North Shore Boat Ramp in the Village of Buckeye Lake. It is a 50-passenger tour boat operated by the Buckeye Lake Historical Society. Public tours of the lake are available from May to October, Saturdays and Sundays 2 p.m. Adults are $10, seniors and children, $8, and children under five are free.

The boat is also available for private rental, evening cruises, family reunions, daily excursions, and weekend specials. Call (740) 929-1998 for more information or to reserve a special cruise.
