      Editor: The two things I have discovered circulating Walnut Township zoning referendum petitions is how many nice people live in our township and how many questions residents have about the two zoning changes recently approved by Walnut Township Trustees.

The 'watchdog' tries to save some bats
      Editor: A shooting at a nightclub in Columbus on May 23rd involved a Kirkersville Police officer.Interim Chief Chris Martin was quoted in a local newspaper as saying that the officerinvolved used his personal weapon and was not dressed in any way as a police officer.

One more Letter: Ladders needed for Baltimore/Buckeye Lake area work week
      Editor: This summer, the Baltimore Area Workcamp will be working in our communities. As many as 60 local residents will benefit from the work of a projected 380 adults and teenage volunteers participating in the Baltimore Area Workcamp, coming to the area the week of June 29. The Workcamp will provide free home repairs through the Group Workcamp Foundation program.
