BUCKEYE LAKE - The Buckeye Lake Community Events Committee kicked off the holiday weekend with Buckeye Lake's third annual Memorial Day Parade on Saturday. Parade goers enjoyed free hot dogs and cotton candy after the parade.

Hebron's American Legion Post 285 started early Monday morning, paying tribute at eight area cemeteries before marching to Hebron Cemetery at 10 a.m. for their annual services.

Memorial Day parades and services were also held in Millersport and Thornville.
