Nancy Carol Clemens

Nancy Carol Clemens, age 75, passed away at home on Saturday, May 17, 2008, in Reynoldsburg. She was born on April 2, 1933, and remained an active member of her community in Reynoldsburg. She graduated from Reynoldsburg High School, was a lifelong member of the Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, she was Deputy Registrar for the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles for over 30 years, was an active participant in the Huber Civic Association, and volunteered with her husband in managing the Reynoldsburg Teen Center for many years. She and her husband had a summer home at Maple Bay. Most importantly she will be remembered as a devoted wife and loving mother. The joy of her life was her family. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 56 years, Mel Clemens, their children and spouses, Vicki & Phil Westfall, Cheri & Rex Cramer, Candi Clemens (Tom Murray), Melodi and Jon Slater, and Shane & Jennifer Clemens; she is survived by their grandchildren and their spouses, Marc & Janice Westfall, Chrissy & CC Snyder, Stephanie Westfall, Jaimee & Jason Hoy, Josh & Beth Horacek, Sunny Horacek, Adrienne & Adam Woodard, Jack & Andrea Cramer, Wade Cramer, Jon III, Andrew, & Samantha Slater, Maddison, Nicholas, & Faith Clemens; she is survived by her great-grandchildren, Sydney & Gracie Westfall, Aston & Chase Snyder, Griffin & Graham Hoy, and Paul & Andi Cramer; she is survived also by her sister, Barbara Mount and many other loving relatives. She will be fondly remembered by her special friends, Eric & Susan Louys and many others. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gail & Waldo Wollam, and brothers Lee and Henry. A heart-felt thanks is expressed by the family to Dr. Mark Knapp, Zangmeister Center, and to staff of Mount Carmel Hospice. If desired, contributions may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice. Her funeral service was May 21, 2008, at the Cotner Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Marckel officating. Interment was at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
