Anna E. Welker
Anna E. Welker, 83, of Baltimore, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital, Columbus.
She was a member of the Baltimore United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of the Parthenia Chapter No. 124 Order of Eastern Star, an auxiliary member of VFW Post No. 3761 and a member of the Baltimore Senior Citizens.
She is survived by sons, Jesse (Judy) Welker of Omaha, Neb., and Tim (Deneen) Welker of Pataskala; daughter-in-law, Vera Welker of Baltimore; sister, Donna Snoke; sister-in-law, Kathryn Sheets; grandchildren, Gary (Dee Dee) Welker, Jeremy (Theresa) Welker, Amanda Holmgreen, Nicole Welker and fiancé, D.J. Williamson, Joshua Welker and fiancée, Kristina Dheel, Simon Welker, Alyssa Welker and Kaitlyn Welker; great-grandchildren, Brandy, Jessica, Daniel, Susie and Devin Welker, all of Nebraska; nieces; nephews; special niece, Elaine Moore; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jesse Welker; son, Steven Welker; daughter, Sue Ann; parents, Earl and Mary Snoke; brother, Roland Snoke; and sisters, Esther Freeman and Leona Artrip.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Johnson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Baltimore, with the Rev. Branson Hawkes and the Rev. Michael Donnally officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Order of Eastern Star service will be at 7:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the Baltimore United Methodist Church in Anna's memory.
