A Mass of Christian burial for Andy Richmer, 79, of Hebron, was March 28, 2008, at St. Leonard Catholic Church, 57 Dorsey Mill Road E, Heath, with the Rev. Harry Snyder and the Rev. Michael Reis, celebrants. Interment was at St. Joseph Cemetery, with the Licking County Veterans Alliance rendering military honors.
Mr. Richmer, retired lineman from American Electric Power, passed away March 26, 2008, at Selma Markowitz Hospice, Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born May 30, 1928, in Newark, to his parents, Raymond A. and Mary E. (Price) Richmer.
Andy was a member of St. Leonard Catholic Church and served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was an avid golfer and fisherman.
Mr. Richmer is survived by his wife, Thelma Anderson-Richmer; children, Lisa (Robert) Sidle, of Newark, Mike (Mary) Richmer, of Mount Vernon, and Michele (David) Watson, of Newark; fivegrandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 10 stepgreat-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Anna Konschak, of California, and Linda (Jim) Best, of Michigan.
In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his first wife, Carole.
