Karen Lynn Taggart
A Mass for Karen Lynn Taggart, 49, of Corvallis, Mont., will be at 11 a.m. March 30 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 5133 Walnut Road SE, Buckeye Lake.
Karen died March 14, 2008, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born July 9, 1958, in Columbus, to Nancy (Rooney) Whipple, and the late Thomas Whipple. Karen was a graduate of Lakewood High School, Hebron. She drove a school bus for that same school district for 14 years until moving to Corvallis in 2001. She then worked as a front desk clerk for three years at the Super 8 Motel, Hamilton.
She was a member of Corvallis Community Church. She was extremely devoted to her family, the church and her friends. She was loved by all who touched her heart and will be greatly missed.
Her father preceded her in death.
Karen is survived by her husband, William, of Corvallis; her mother, Nancy, of Grove City; son, Andrew (Angela), of Newark; daughters, Alicia (Lori), of Thornville, Alexia (Christopher), of Frazeysburg, and Amber (Michael), of Ft. Bragg, N.C.; sister, Cindy, of Pataskala; brothers, Jason (Adonna), of Mount Vernon, Thomas Jr., of Zanesville, and Joseph, of Newark; 11 grandchildren; and her extended family.
