Foreclosure help workshop set

COLUMBUS- Ohio homeowners at risk of foreclosure can meet face to face with their mortgage lender at the free Hope Now Homeownership Preservation Workshop, Sunday, March 30, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Columbus North Hotel, The Pavilion, 6500 Doubletree Ave., Columbus.

Ohio is the second state offering the Hope Now workshops, co-sponsored by NeighborWorks America. The workshops, which take about 30 minutes, are open to the public, and provide access to homeownership preservation information. The one-on-one meetings with loan servicers often will lead to work outs and free counseling with HUD certified housing counselors.

Mortgage lenders include: Carrington, Countrywide, Citi, EMC, GMAC Mortgage and Homecomings Financial, HSBC, IndyMac Bank, Chase, Option One, National City, and Washington Mutual.
