Watchdog' looking out for dogs
      Editor: According to public records, GOB (Good Ole' Boy) Computer Jerk Bill Harper took in about $355 for the months of February and March. Bingman's Auto and Truck Repair was paid $3,218.25 in February and Melissa Tremblay received $287.50 for assisting Village Clerk, Johnny (Bob) Adkins in doing his job.

Another Letter: Writer thanks 'watchdog,' police for safe return of pet
      Editor: I feel I must respond to Mr. Ahern's letter in last week's Beacon since it was my "stray" that prompted Bonnie Mansfield'sletter. I've had my pet for six years and unfortunately, she strayed around 7:00 in the evening. I have tags and ID for her, but the clip broke a couple of days before this incident.

Only Republicans can hunker in the bunker
      Editor: In 1904, the residents of Baltimore felt the need for a new town hall. The design selected was a remarkably ugly three story structure they couldn't afford but wanted anyway. The citizens felt brave at the time and selected the deluxe model that came complete with roof.

      Editor: Just a letter to extend a sincere appreciation to the Walnut Township road crew, who have diligently and consistently worked very hard to keep Seller's Drive clear of ice and snow during winter. We so appreciate your efforts. Indeed, we appreciate all you do to maintain safe roads throughout our township.

Thanks for help
      Editor: I have a grateful thank you for all the people that supported my husband, Frank Koss and me during his sickness and his passing. Thank you to the Village of Millersport Council, Board of Public Affairs and my coworkers. They have given so much support. I was able to get time off to be with my husband whenever I needed it.
