OSU star comes to Millersport

MILLERSPORT - Former Buckeye defensive tackle, Joel Penton, will be making a stop in Millersport on Wednesday, March 12 at 7 p.m. to address the community at Millersport High School.

He will be joined by musician and performer Ryan Holliday. The two have been traveling all across Ohio on their year-long "Stand Your Ground" tour.

A 2006 graduate of OSU, Penton was a member of three Big Ten championship teams and one national championship team. Penton played in 38 straight games for the Buckeyes. In 2006 Penton received the prestigious Danny Wuerffel Trophy, also known as the "Humanitarian Heisman."

Doors open at the high school at 6 p.m., with free pizza donated by Pizza Cottage served at 6:30 p.m. and kickoff at 7 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
