MILLERSPORT - The Millersport Lions Club and the Buckeye Lake Youth Association are sponsoring a roaring good breakfast Saturday, March 15, 8 a.m. to noon, at the Millersport Lions Clubhouse. Proceeds from the waffle breakfast will go toward replacing kitchen equipment destroyed from the Buckeye Lake Youth Association's unique Waffle House stand at the Sweet Corn Festival fairgrounds in Millersport. Arsonists set fire to the Waffle House stand Dec. 26, destroying the stand and its equipment. The Millersport Lions Club will donate a new Waffle House structure, which will be built on the site of the old stand.

The Easter Bunny is the guest of honor at the March 15 breakfast, which is $5 for adults and children over 10 years old, $2 for children two to 10 years old, and children under two years old are free. A photo with the Easter Bunny is $2 per photo, with an additional $1 for each child in the photo.

For those who are unable to attend the breakfast but would still like to help, donations are accepted by mailing a check to Sweet Corn Festival, PO Box 337, Millersport, Ohio 43046. Please make the check payable to the Sweet Corn Festival and please write "Buckeye Lake Youth Waffle Booth" on the memo line. For more information, please contact Millersport Lion Rondia Sexton at (740) 405-9871, or BLYA Booth Chair Marge Schulze at (740) 928-2750.
