Poll workers needed

LANCASTER - The Fairfield County Board of Elections is seeking registered voters to help run the polls during this year's elections. The Board need poll workers who will be assigned to work in voting precincts on election day, as well as roving troubleshooters who will travel between precincts to help resolve any issues that might arise.

All pool workers and roving troubleshooters are trained by the Board of Elections prior to an election, and workers are paid $30 for the time spent in training, and are paid up to $125 for working at the polls on election day.

There are 125 voting precincts in FairfieldCounty and at least four workers are needed for each precinct.
