Lewis "Buck" Malott, Jr.

A funeral service for Lewis "Buck" Malott, Jr., age 68, of Buckeye Lake, was held February 6, 2008, at the Heath Chapel of Henderson Van Atta Funeral & Cremation Service with Willy Couples officiating. Military honors were observed at the funeral home.

Mr. Malott died February 3, 2008 at his home. He was born August 5, 1939 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Lewis A. Malott, Sr. and the late Marciel (Walsh) Malott.

Mr. Malott was the owner of Louie's Corner House, a local Buckeye Lake establishment, for over 30 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and had been a union painter for 20 years.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carol Sue (Sierer) Malott, whom he married October 11, 1961; four daughters, Cindy Allbritton of Groveport, Pam (Tommy) Thompson of Thornville, Debbie (P.J.) Williamson of Buckeye Lake and Vicki Lohrman of Newark; grandchildren, Nicole (Bo) Perry of Hebron, Gregory Allbritton of Buckeye Lake, Ashley (Daniel) Grosse and Kahley Thompson, all of Thornville, Corey and Courtney Crane of Buckeye Lake, Brittany, Bri and Brandi Lohrman of Newark; great-grandchildren, Alexa, Aubrey and Annabelle Perry and Addison Grosse; sons-in-law, Greg Allbritton and Ron Lohrman; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends of Louie's Corner House.
