Patricia Ann Hart Watson

A graveside service for Patricia Ann Hart Watson, 74, of Pleasantville, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Salem Cemetery, with the Rev. Roger McElfresh officiating.

Patricia passed away peacefully Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, at Altercare Valley View Nursing Home. She was born April 5, 1933, in Newark, to the late Raymond and Helen Armstrong Hart. She was a retired cook for Pleasantville Elementary School and enjoyed gardening and sewing. Pat was a member of New Salem United Methodist Church, Pleasantville Grange 1615, and Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Lou (Randy) Caudill, of Marion, and Barb (Jeff) Smith, of Lancaster; one son, Bill (Carmen) Watson, of Pleasantville; 10 grandchildren; sister, Nancy (Brady) Crawmer, of Toboso; brother, Jack (Alice) Hart, of Granville; sister-in-law, JoAnn (Richard) Swinehart, of Pleasantville; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick," of 50 years, on Nov. 17, 2007.

Caring Cremation has taken place by the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Baltimore, Ohio.
