Bank offers free shredding Nov. 10

NEWARK - Help protect your personal identity by shredding unneeded paperwork containing personal information!

Park National Bank is hosting a free community shred day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10 in the main officeparking lot in downtown Newark. Park is partnering with Shred-it Mobil Shredding to provide this service.

Park National Bankers will be on hand to help unload items for shredding and a drive-thru service will be available. Up to fivestandard size boxes per household will be accepted. Financial and legal documents, receipts, medical and tax records, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes and floppy disks can all be shredded. Shred-it utilizes a crosscut shredding process that creates a crisscross cut of papers. Pieces are no more than 5/8 in size providing greater security than conventional strip-cut shredded. Only paperwork from individuals will be accepted - no businesses or organizations may participate. Donations will be accepted to benefit the Licking County United Way.
