What a Weekend!
There was something for everybody - from cleaning out your garage or basement to watching classic cars at National Trail Raceway or classic wooden boats at the Buckeye Lake Yacht Club. Perry County's first ever household hazardous waste collection day in Thornville was a big success. A total of 160 vehicles dropped off everything from paint to old ammunition. Thousands lined Market Street in Baltimore Saturday morning to watch the Baltimore Festival's Grand Parade.
Sunday, the Buckeye Lake Area Civic Association's Tour of Home hosted over 600 visitors. Thanks to a small army of volunteers, the event ran like a finely tuned machine.
