Beaver Run to close

JACKSONTOWN - Beaver Run Road, between Ohio 79 and Thornville Drive, will close Monday, March 5 as part of the Thornwood Dirve connector road project already under construction.

The closure will allow relocation of 3,000 feet of railroad track and construction of a cul-de-sac just west of Ohio 79. That portion of Beaver Run will be closed through the end of October, then will be permanently closed when the new connector road opens at the same time. The project to build the two-lane connector and bridge over the railroad tracks is expected to cost $4.3 million.
