Police activity report Buckeye Lake + Feb. 11: A Walnut Road man reported someone stole 25 CDs from his vehicle. + Feb. 11: Police questioned a Union Avenue man whom officerssuspected was trying to break into parked vehicles. The man denied doing so and officershad insufficient evidence to detain him. + Feb. 11: A Newark man assaulted a woman in the parking lot of the Beachridge Lounge. He shoved her to the ground, injuring her, and spit in the face of a wrecker driver. He was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and underage consumption of alcohol. + Feb. 13: A Union Street woman reported that someone stole her medication. + Feb. 15: A Hebron woman reported that a vehicle rear-ended hers while she was waiting in the McDonald's drive-through lane. The man driving the vehicle that hit her was found to be driving with a suspended license. He was charged with driving under suspension. + Feb. 16: A Walnut Road man reported that someone damaged his trailer. + Feb. 18: Officers received a report of a 911 hang-up call. It was caused by a problem with the phone. + Feb. 18: An officerassisted a Licking County Sheriff's deputy who was issuing a civil protection order. The person intended to receive the CPO was not home. + Feb. 18: Police assisted the Buckeye Lake Fire Department with an elderly woman who broke her hip. She was locked in her home and couldn't move. + Feb. 20: A Walnut Road woman reported someone stole 40 CDs from her vehicle.
