Marcia Alice McFarland
Marcia Alice McFarland, age 86 of Jacksontown, entered into eternal rest Thursday, January 25, 2007, at the Selma Markowitz Hospice, Newark Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 3, 1920 in Newark, to William W. and Jessie (Redman) Ryan. She was a 1938 graduate of Newark High School and Newark College of Commerce. She served in the Navy W.A.V.E.S. during WW II, was a member of Jacksontown United Methodist Church, Women's Memorial, Eagon Chapter Eastern Star, General Federation of Women's Club, worked at Consumers Breusing Co, Holophane Glass Co, Wallace Insurance, State of Ohio Dept. of Highways, Hebron Tribune Newspaper and Hebron Clerk of Courts and Mutual and Civic Improvement Club of Hebron.

Marcia is survived by sons Phil (Cheryl) McFarland, Don (Sue) McFarland and David (Shirley) McFarland, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great great grandson and brother Bob (Mildred) Ryan of Bay Village, Ohio Sister-in-laws Eleanor Ryan of Newark, Mildred Ryan of Harbor Hills.

Preceding her in death were her parents William and Jessie, husband Donald Eugene McFarland, brothers Paul and Bill Ryan.

A graveside service was held January 29, 2007, at Jacksontown Cemetery with Pastor Bob Byers officiating.
