It's Consumer Protection Week February 4-9

BUCKEYE LAKE - National Consumer Protection Week is February 4-9. The U.S. Postal Service is teaming with other agencies to educate consumers about fraudulent work-at-home schemes.

Four pamphlets will be available in the Buckeye Lake Post Officelobby next week: Sweepstakes Advertising, Preventing Mail Fraud, Consumer Fraud by Phone or Mail and Safeguard Your Personal Information. The Postal Service has a team available for presentations to senior centers, civic organizations and other groups on how to avoid being scammed.
