Edith M. Barber

A funeral service for Edith M. Barber, 85, of Buckeye Lake was held November 20, 2007, at Schoedinger North Chapel. Interment was at Riverside Cemetery.

Edith passed away November 18, 2007, at Licking Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Barber Sr.; parents, Maurice and Minnie Brown; and sister, Mildred Cotter.

She was survived by daughter, Judith Kindred; sons, Samuel (Barbara) Barber Jr. and Warren (Julie) Barber; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Donard "Tuffy" Clum

Donard "Tuffy" Clum, 76, passed away peacefully Nov. 14, 2007, at FairfieldMedical Center surrounded by his loving family.

He was a lifelong resident of Baltimore and son of the late Clifton and Margaret Clum.

He was a retired supervisor for Continental Midland formerly Midland Screw Inc. with 43 years of service. He was a Korean Conflictveteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Baltimore Masonic Lodge No. 475, Buckeye Lake Eagles No. 2801, VFW Post No. 3761, Tarhe Shrine Club of Aladdin Temple, Lancaster FairfieldCounty Amateur Radio Club, American Legion Post No. 11 and FairfieldFish and Game Association.

Tuffy is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Ellen Broyles Clum; three daughters, Janet (Butch) Friedrich, Judy (Kirk) Kavander and Joyce (Randall) Pullins all of Baltimore; eight grandchildren, Wendy (Josh) Poston, Craig (Justyn) Friedrich, Shelli (Steve) Drossel, Kandice ( Fiance J. C. Boley) Kavander, Ashlee (Nick Keller) Kavander, Randy Pullins, Aaron ( Kim Erlenbach) Pullins and Lucas Pullins; fivegreat-grandchildren, Bailee and Brody Poston, Sydney and Seth Drossel and Kaden Pullins; best friend, Homer Wade; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Sharon Robinson and Mona Anderson.

Services were November 17, 2007, at Johnson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel and Crematory with the Rev. Benjamin Foulk officiating. Caring Cremation will follow. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Maple Grove Cemetery, Baltimore.
