New florist shop opens

BUCKEYE LAKE - Buckeye Lake has added its first florist shop in years. Judy Baum and Jay Cooperrider have opened Jabber Shop Florist and Gifts at 11026 Hebron Road. Baum and designer Jody Phillips will be operating the shop.

The former tatoo shop is now an attractive florist and gift shop. Floral arrangements, personalized gift baskets, balloons and gifts are available for pickup or delivery. Jabber Shop will deliver to the entire lake region including Baltimore, Glenford, Somerset and Newark.

Special events will be an important part of the new shop. Coming up Nov. 23 thru Dec. 24 is "Make Your Holiday Wish List." The Nov. 5-10 Grand Opening offered a 10 percent off coupon for only one item. Those coupons will be accepted through Nov. 30.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saturdays are 9 a.m. to noon. Extended hours are available by appointment or calling 928-0007. Jabber Shop is a member of Teleflorafor worldwide delivery.
