Delmar Dean Freeman
Delmar Dean Freeman, age 73, of Jacksontown, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at Licking Memorial Hospital Hospice unit.
He was born on October 9, 1934 in Haydenville, Ohio to the late Forest D. and Eva M. (Wallet) Freeman. Delmar married his beloved wife on June 9, 1956, was a faithful member of the Jacksontown United Methodist Church, a trustee and president of the United Methodist Men, chairman of the Repair Care Team and Food Pantry. Delmar was an Eagle Scout, a member of the United States Marine Reserve, a school bus driver and a Little League coach who loved fishing and golfing.He was a great family man and was loved by everyone who knew him.
Delmar is survived by his wife, Dorothy "Dottie"; children, Larry Freeman, Lauri (Steve) Mackowski, and Jeff (Missi) Freeman; sister, Gloria Daubenmire Jackson; brother, Donald Wallet; grandchildren, Laurietta Oakleaf, Joshua and Danca Thomas, Tiffany, Dean, Jeffery Jr. and Mallie Freeman; great grandchildren, Makylah, Harmony, Jazzimine, and Symphony; beloved brother and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Donald Freeman; grandparents, William (Clara) Wallet; sisters, Grace Kline and Edith Cline; and infant grandson, Nicholas Freeman.
Funeral service was November 2, 2007, at the Jacksontown United Methodist Church with Pastor Robert Beyer and Carol Kirk officiating. Burial followed at Jacksontown Cemetery.
