More support for Prince for trustee

Editor:

I'm writing to support Charles Prince for Union Township Trustee.

Charlie's local newspaper has served the community well for over ten years. Before The Beacon came along, it was up to just a few of us who gathered and distributed the village news with a homespun newsletter. We've come a long way in distributing news and providing a public format for debate, but unfortunately not much progress has been made in other important areas such as providing a public water system.

Whether the discussion is water, sewer, development or the accountability of public officials, the comments from Charlie Prince are always on target.

He's well versed on all the important issues and he has the experience to make a difference. Before starting The Beacon, Charlie worked for Proctor & Gamble and also ran a small business in Cincinnati. He also published subscription environmental newsletters.

No matter the issue, whether it's personal, public or business, I've found Charlie to be well informed with a reasonable and fair-minded approach.

The Villages of Hebron and Buckeye Lake are in Union Township. Charlie's covered Union Township for years and he knows what needs to be done. He owns a small farm in the northern part of the township. He cares about issues that affect both long term residents and our new neighbors. He wants to work with our villages to make Union Township even better.

Join me in voting November 6 for Charlie Prince as Union Township Trustee.
