Marjorie F. Keller
Marjorie F. Keller, 93, formerly of Pleasantville, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, at the Crestview Manor-Sheridan Wing.
She was a former cook at the Pleasantville Schools and former activities director at Sunbridge- Homestead Nursing Center. She was a member of the Sixth Avenue United Methodist Church, Lancaster; the Pleasantville Order of Eastern Star; Pleasant Grange; and the Pleasantville and Olivedale Senior Center.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Tom Slagle, of Baltimore; son, Roger Keller; seven grandchildren, Debra Garren, of Rushville; Ann (Chad) Kistler, of Rushville; Wendy, Shane, Brandy, Travis, and Tabitha Keller; great-grandchildren, Megan Garren, J.T. Garren, Amber Coakley and Jacob Coakley; and many nieces and nephews.
The family extends a special thank you to the Crestview Manor Nursing Center for their care of Marjorie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett R. Keller; parents Charles and Allie Reedy; brothers, Calvin, Gale, Charles, Pearl, Don, Wayne, and Fred Reedy; sisters, Naomi Lehman and Martha Beery; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Services were Oct. 9, 2007, at Johnson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Baltimore, with the Rev. Jesse Blevins officiating. Burial followed in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster. Memorials may be given to Hospice in Marjorie's memory.
