Daniel Ray Geiger

A memorial service for Daniel Ray Geiger, 53, of Glenford, was held Oct. 3, 2007, at the Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta Funeral & Cremation Service, with the Rev. Robert L. Knox officiating. Inurnment was in Fairmount Cemetery.

Mr. Geiger was found deceased Sept. 29, 2007. He was born July 14, 1954, in Zanesville, to the late Robert Collier Geiger and Helen (Smith) Geiger.

Mr. Geiger was a 1973 graduate of West Muskingum High School. He was employed by Walker Manufacturing for 19 1/2 years as a welder and also had been employed by Spiffy Cleaning for 7 1/2 years.

He is survived by two sons, Eric (Heather) Geiger and Brent (Lea Ann) Geiger, all of Newark; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Austin and Chace Geiger; two brothers, Randy (Carrie) Geiger and Rick Geiger, both of Glenford; four sisters, Sharon (Harold) Gilkeson, of Newark, Connie (Marshall) Rodeheaver, of Florida, Mari Geiger, of Glenford, and Trudy (Steve) Murrey, of Hebron; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions to assist with funeral expenses may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
