Vernon B. Morgan

A memorial service celebrating the life of Vernon B. Morgan, 62, of Hebron, was held September 23, 2007, in the chapel of the Hoskinson

Funeral Home, Kirkersville with Pastor Richard Gatton officiating.

Vernon died September 20, 2007, following an extended illness. He was born in St Louis, Missouri, on May 1, 1945, the son of the late Hoyle and Edna Chandler Morgan. He was a graduate of Marion Harding High School, Class of 1963. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, cooking and his Christian faith. He was a member of The Potter's House Church in Zanesville.

He had worked for the railroad, Honda Manufacturing and was an excellent carpenter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lula Mason. He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Jenkins of Columbus and Patrea Gooden of Delaware; his son, Jason Arthur of California; his five grandchildren; his sisters, Valerie Reagan of Orange, Ca. and Amer Ruth Green of East St. Louis Mo.; his brother, Allen Mason of Marion; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
