Helen L. Potts
Helen L. Potts, 85 of Newark, and former resident of Baltimore, died Saturday, August 25, 2007, at Arlington Care Center, Newark. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, VFW Post #3761 Ladies Auxiliary, associate member of Basil Garden Club, Baltimore Senior Citizens and Baltimore Senior Volleyball Team.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Brian) Beatty of Heath; son, Patrick (Becky) Potts of Baltimore; grandson, Erick (Laura) Boucher of Blacklick; great grandson, Matthew Boucher; two stepgranddaughters, Kim (John) Watts of Pleasantville and Cheri (Larry) Marsh of Rushville; three step-great grandchildren, Ashley Marsh, Alex Watts, and Chelsey Marsh; sister-in-law, Florence (George) Van Dyke of Gahanna; cousin, Wendall Shelly of Glenford; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Potts; parents, Elmer and Dorothy Mohler; brother and sister-inlaw, Eugene and Jane Mohler; and step-grandson, Ivan Beatty.
Funeral service will be held Friday, August 31 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity United Church of Christ, 105 N. High St., Baltimore, with Rev. Jill Dunlap officiating. Burial to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may visit Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the Johnson- Smith Funeral Home, 207 S. Main St., Baltimore, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
