Charles A. Noell
A funeral service celebrating the life of Charles A. Noell, 75, of Hebron was held August 20, 2007, in the chapel of Hoskinson Funeral Home, Kirkersville with Pastor Mark Pierce officiating. Burial followed in Fairmount Cemetery.
Charles passed away August 16, 2007, at Newark Healthcare Centre with his family by his side. He was born April 28, 1932, in Oklahoma City, OK to the late Fred and Mabel Noell. He retired from the Newark Air Base after 36 years as a production controller. During the Korean War, Charles served his country as a medic in the U.S. Army. He then continued to serve in the Air National Guard retiring as a Staff Sergeant.
Charles was a member of the Hebron VFW Post. He was an artist that loved to draw. He also spent many hours feeding the birds, squirrels and chipmunks. In addition, he most enjoyed his dog, Lucy and two cats, Tommy and Kitty. Surviving are his wife of forty-three years, Deloris A. (Miller) Noell; brothers-in-law, Kenneth (Sherry) Miller, Robert (Patty) Miller, Kelly (Brenda) Miller and Curtis Miller; sistersin law, Mary (Dale) Roberts and Kathy Miller-Cox; many nieces and nephews; a special great nephew, Reece; and a faithful friend, James Daley.
