Pauline "Tomi" Clum

Pauline "Tomi" Clum, age 91 of Thornville, entered into eternal peace, Friday, August 10, 2007, at her residence.

She was born on February 7, 1916, in Glenford, to the late I.Z. and Virge (Troup) Shrider. Tomi married her husband, I. Newton Clum on July 29, 1940. Tomi was a cook for the Thornville school for 29 years, a member of Grace Lutheran Church since 1940, had a passion for cooking, was part of the Thornville American Legion Post 342 Auxiliary, loved playing cards and going fishing in Canada.

Pauline is survived by her children, Roger (Pat) Clum and Vesta (John) Skinner; brother, Paul W. Shrider; three grandchildren, Stephanie (Nic) Miller, Toni (Jim) Stepanek, and Nicci (Doug) Fisher; nine great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Doris Shrider; brother-in-laws, John (Jane) Clum and Bill (Miriam) Clum; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, I. Newton Clum and her parents, Ivan and Virge; sister, Stella Hursey; and brothers, Jack Shrider and Woodrow (Ham) Shrider.

Funeral service was August 13, 2007, with Pastor Jeff and Patti Morlock officiating at Grace Lutheran Church. Burial followed at Lutheran Reformed Cemetery, Thornville.

In lieu of flowers make memorial donations to Grace Lutheran Church.
