Leslie Ann Baughman
A funeral service celebrating the life of Leslie Ann Baughman, 49 of Hebron, was held July 24, 2007, in the Hebron United Methodist Church with Pastor Penny Drenten officiating.
Leslie died at home Friday afternoon following an extended illness.
She was born February 5, 1958, in Columbus, the daughter of the late Ernest and Karen Dentner Howald of Reynoldsburg. She was a graduate of Watkins Memorial High School (Class of 1976) and Franklin University. She worked 23 years in the banking and title business and had owned her own title agency. She was an active member of the Hebron community, serving as a member of the Lakewood Local Schools Board of Education for four years, and PTO at Lakewood; and as a member of the new school planning committee. She took an active interest in her boys' education and was active in the school boosters during their junior and senior high school years.
In addition, she was an active member of the Hebron United Methodist Church. A loving wife and mother, she adored her boys and her grandchildren. In addition to her mother, Leslie is survived by her husband Michael, whom she married on June 17, 1978; her sons, Joshua of Blacklick, Justin (Jessica) of Newark and Jacob of Hebron; her grandchildren, Alexandria and Austin; her brothers, Chris (Kathy) Howald of Granville, Gene (Gail) Howald of Greensboro, Georgia and Paul (Kathy) Howald of Englewood, Colorado; her sister, Terry (Steve) Crane of Millersport; and several nieces and nephews.
