Bog Day volunteers thanked

Just a note to thank all of the Bog Day (June 23) volunteers. There was a steady stream of visitors from 8 in the morning until late afternoon. Everybody wanted to see our great natural attraction - Cranberry Bog.

Working hand in hand with the good people from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, volunteers drove their own boats, helped people get on and off the boats, took donations or worked at several stands. A huge thank you to Joe Albanese of Albanese's Food Gallery who not only spent most of the day helping people on and off the boats, but also supplied box lunches for all of the volunteers. People from all over Ohio and some from outside the state got a great impression of our area thanks to the hard work of our volunteers. Thanks again!
