'If all I've done…is turn your eyes on me, then I've failed…'
The past six years of planning, praying, leading and building the ministry of Water's Edge have been a joy-filled adventure. Many people have blessed our mission and outreach in the Buckeye Lake region with their time, talents and treasures. We are thankful for each of you and the many ways you chose to give.
For the many personal cards and letters received at this time of my departure, I thank you. A final thought and question for you comes in the words of a song written by a Marion Correctional inmate: "If all I've done in the time we shared is turn your eyes on me, then I've failed in what I've been called to do, there's someone else I've wanted you to see. Will you love Jesus more when we go our different ways? When this moment is a memory, will you remember His face? Will you look back and realize you sense His love more than you did before? I pray for nothing less than for you to love Jesus more."
